Terms of Use

These terms are between Sahla (Kafr El-Dawar, Beheira, Egypt) and everyone who uses the Sahla app. By creating an account or booking a ride you agree to them. Please also read the Privacy Policy.

The service

• Sahla connects you with Sahla's own vehicles and drivers, inside the service area and during the operating hours shown in the app.
• The number of cars is limited, so sometimes no car is free straight away. The app will tell you honestly.
• The service is for people aged 18 or over. Younger riders must travel with a responsible adult.

Your account

• You sign in with your phone number and a code we send you. The account is yours alone; never share the code.
• Use your real name. We may suspend accounts that misuse the service or harm anyone.

Price and payment

• You see the price before you book, and that's what you pay, unless you change the drop-off (then we quote again and you confirm).
• You pay the driver in cash at the end of the trip. Please carry change if you can.

Cancelling and waiting

• You can cancel a request in the app. If you often cancel after the driver has set off, we may limit your use of the service.
• If the driver arrives and can't find you, they may cancel after a reasonable wait.

Safety and respect

• Respect the driver and the car. No smoking, violence, harassment or carrying prohibited items.
• No more passengers than the car can seat.
• In an emergency, use the emergency button in the app or call 122.
• If anything goes wrong, contact support from Help and safety in the app and we'll review the trip.

Lost items

If you leave something in the car, contact us quickly and we'll try to return it, but we aren't responsible for items left behind.

Liability

We do our best to make every trip safe and on time, but roads, traffic and weather can cause delays. Our liability is limited to what Egyptian law requires.

The app

Don't try to break into the app, automate it or tamper with prices. The Sahla name and logo belong to Sahla.

Changes

We may update these terms. We'll change the date here, and tell you in the app if the change is significant.

Law

These terms are governed by Egyptian law, and disputes go before the courts of Beheira.
